Whereas the Parents and the School consider it necessary to have a body that could be the vehicle for communication, co-ordination and implementation of agreed policies and activities. Whereas the Parents consider that the body mentioned above should be the instrument to represent their interests before the School's College of Teachers, Management Structure and Finance Group of the School to ensure that openness and transparency are always paramount between the Parents and the School's diverse bodies in keeping with the Steiner spirit of participation and commonly agreed policies. Whereas the Parents consider that the actual interaction between this body and the School's diverse bodies will in effect reflect the workings of a parents'/teachers' association, The parents have decided and agreed the following:
-
To set up through this instrument a Parent Association that would vocalise the parents' views, on all matters deemed relevant and enter into agreements with the School on activities that may be undertaken jointly with the School or the Parents from time to time.
-
To maintain the Spirit of Stainer philosophy, this body will operate with ad hoc committees set up if and when required to meet commitments and voice concerns to the school.
-
Parents/guardians of children registered at the School automatically become members of the Parents' Association.
